This course provides a foundation for professional development of HR executives by giving a framework for understanding their various roles and developing their professional capabilities for effectively fulfilling these role requirements
As steel industry has become highly uncertain, turbulent and competitive, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), needs to develop its General Managers in contemporary business models, practices, and techniques that would enhance their understanding of the factors driving the industry, and enable them to set challenging goals for themselves, apply appropriate management principles in their day to day functioning in order to cascade these goals into action plan and put in place appropriate measurement systems to bring in significant agility and change in the functioning of the company and successfully steer through the challenging business landscape. This programme is envisaged as phase II of the mandatory Advanced Management Programme being organized at MTI, Ranchi for newly promoted General Managers.
This course is based on the SAIL Managerial Competency "Strategic Orientation" and provides inputs for participants to further develop their strategic thinking and strategy implementation skills.
This module aims at providing inputs on basic construct of work-life balance.
