the issue of greater connect within the HRD community has been emphasized by Chairman SAIL also in his interaction with the HRD collective on 29th December 2017, and was further discussed in a meeting of ED(HRD) with HoTs on 20th January 2019

SAIL has variety of weighing systems in process and commercials. This Community of Practice (CoP) is designed as a dynamic and collaborative space in the area of weighing systems in SAIL. This will serve as a platform to share, explore, and discuss real-world cases, practical implementations, and emerging trends across both process as well as commercial weighment systems for achieving accurate and live weighment systems across SAIL.
This Community of Practice (CoP) is designed as a dynamic and collaborative space in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). This will serve as a platform to share, explore, and discuss real-world use cases, practical implementations, and emerging trends in AI/ML across various domains.
Participants are requested to engage in themed discussion threads focused on demo/applied use-cases — ranging from predictive analytics and natural language processing to computer vision, recommendation systems, AI ethics, and beyond. The community emphasizes peer learning, collaborative problem-solving, and cross-industry knowledge exchange.
Members are encouraged to share their experiences, tools, challenges, and lessons learned from AI/ML projects. The goal is to build a collective intelligence that fuels innovation and supports continuous learning in SAIL.

Aim
The aim of this workshop to enable the development of communities of practice in SAIL for facilitating learning and transfer of knowledge across plants and units.
Objectives
At the end of this program the participants will be able to
- Understand how communities of practice can be as a mechanism for accelerating collective learning and solving practical problems in different technical and functional domains.
- Learn about tools and techniques for developing and sustaining communities of practice (CoPs) in their workplace and connecting the CoPs across plants and units.
- Plan for developing and sustaining communities of practice in SAIL.
This forum is a platform for the community of practice on Hydraulics to share problems, new insights and solutions.
